本体価格：¥ 11,000- ＜古伊万里 染付 宝珠雲龍文 蕎麦猪口＞ 時代： 天明～文政年間、1780-1820年代 状態： 口縁が9.3cmある大振りの蕎麦猪口です。上面画像でお判りのように、細かなソバカスが見込みにいくつか見られます。同じ画像で口縁の１０時辺りにソバカスが一つあります。内側壁面に顔料の呉須が薄く付着しており、そのすぐ横にソバカスが一つあります。竜の左前足と後足の間に窯ヘコミが一つ見られます（５番目の画像）。ホツやニュウなどはない比較的に綺麗な蕎麦猪口です。 サイズ：口径：9.3cm　底径 5.4cm　高さ：7.1cm 1800年代始め頃に流行りだした線書きの染付け。これはその雲竜文の蕎麦猪口です。古伊万里の素描きによる雲竜は、馬のような鼻筋と今にも噛み付きそうな口元が見当たりません。禅寺で見かける竜や美術書などに出てくる竜のように一般的に知られたイメージとは竜頭部分が異なっています。 竜と対になって描かれているのは、宝珠です。宝珠には霊力があり、思いのままに望みを叶えられるということから、如意宝珠 （にょいほうじゅ） とも呼ばれ、打ち出の小槌（こづち）、軍配、巻物など、縁起の良い吉祥文（きっしょうもん）の一つとなっています。カタチ的には、丸い珠の上方が尖っており、竜との相性が非常に良いとされています。この蕎麦猪口の宝珠のように火焔が立っているものは、火焔宝珠（かえんほうじゅ）と呼ばれます。 <168 Dragon and Jewel Ball Design, Sobachoko, Koimari Sometsuke> Period: Late18th to Early 19th Century, Edo Period Condition: This is a large size of Dragon Sobachoko with rim 9.2 centimeters in diameter. As the Mikomi picture shows, there are some small stains on the Mikomi, or inside bottom. On the same picture, a freckle is seen at 10 o'clock on the rim. There are some Gosu pigment thinly attached on the inside wall, and a freckle is seen right next to it. There is a small dent between the front leg and hind leg. No cracks or chips. Dia.: 9.3cm (top), 5.4cm (bot.) Hgt.: 7.1cm This is a "Dragon and Jewel Ball " designed Sobachoko. The dragon and the jewel ball are drawn with line strokes. This drawing technique, inspired by the Chinese Chin dynasty porcelain, became popular in the early 19th century. Line-stroked dragon on Sobachoko does not have a straight nose like horse or furious mouth like shark, which differs from the ones we see at Zen temples and in pictorial books as the general images we hold towards dragon. A motif depicted on the other side of dragon is "Hohju", or a wish-come-true jewel. The shape is round and its top part is sharp. It is also known as "Nyoi-Hohju" and has a super power enabling to realize whatever one wishes. So, Hohju is regarded as one of the treasures in traditional Japanese lucky design. Hohju with flames around it is called "Kaen-hohju", and makes a good combination with dragon.
